The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE really challenges the idiom ‘better late than never’: arriving around five months after it was expected – and 11 months and one week after the other phones in the Galaxy S21 family – the S21 FE is finally here only a month or so before the next-gen Galaxy range.
This is purportedly the budget member of the Samsung Galaxy S21 range, offering features and specs from the main S21 family, but at a lower asking price because of a few select downgrades that average phone users likely won’t notice. This phone is also not the first Fan Edition phone from Samsung (it should be noted that the Galaxy S20 FE proved rather popular).
Right off the bat, the price is a problem. The S21 FE is supposed to be the budget member of its family (a fact denoted by the FE in the name) but arriving so long after other phones in the S21 range, it is full price whereas others have been discounted. You can pick up the Galaxy S21 – a now older phone with more impressive specs and features – for less (assuming you find a good, sub-$600 deal). As Rick Rossovich says in Top Gun: “no points for second place.”
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE’s price problem is a shame, because the mobile could be a tempting buy at a more competitive price point. Nowadays, you can get phones with the same processor, screen specs and camera capabilities for less.
But the price is not the mobile’s only issue. The phone – even with its wireless charging – is rather slow to charge, and it also doesn’t last long enough between charges. We sometimes had to curtail our standard usage to ensure the phone lasted a full day.

We provide a next working day delivery service for all orders placed before 3pm for Ireland and Northern Ireland, and 2-3 days for UK delivery.
Refunds: We have a 7 day refund policy where if the customer is unhappy with their device, they have 7 days from the purchase date to request a refund. If the device is an online order, we do not refund or cover postage costs.
Faulty devices must be returned within 14 days of purchase for direct exchange , After this time we reserve the right to repair the device.
Receipt of purchase MUST be provided when bringing a device back. We cannot be responsible for negligence.
We will either choose to repair the product in-house or replace as necessary outside of the 14 day exchange policy.
Your return will be given high priority, with most repairs and replacements being completed in approx 1-3 working days.
Warranty
Grade A Preowned phones and new devices come with 12 months warranty.
Accidental damage voids all warranty. physical damage, liquid damage. etc. For example if the screen on the device is broken but is not charging or signal is low, the device will not be covered as this is physical damage to the device which could be caused by distress. Any physical damage voids all warranty.
Our warranty covers manufacturing faults, not self-inflicted damage or distress to the device.
All batteries are tested to be above 85% capacity, Our warranty covers a defective battery, not everyday usage of the battery where the cycles will decrease over time. Sometimes in this case, we will need to take the device into our lab for testing for up to 24 hours to test if the battery is defective or if it’s down to general usage.
Any repair carried out by a third party voids the warranty.
